You can give students extra time and attempts with Canvas Classic Quizzes by using the Moderate Quiz feature.
Please Note: the Moderate Quiz feature only becomes available after a Classic Quiz is published. These instructions will not work once a student has already begun the quiz.

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Open the quiz for which you’d like to give extra time and attempts
2. Select “Moderate This Quiz”
3. Click the pencil icon next to the student’s name
4. Add the number of extra attempts and amount of extra time for each attempt
In this case, this student will receive one extra attempt and sixty extra minutes for each attempt.
5. Click “Save”
