(Oct. 28) Impactful Digital Teaching: Faculty Perspectives from Boston College

Join us for a lunchtime panel featuring Boston College faculty who will share practical approaches to creating engaging and meaningful online and hybrid learning experiences.

The panel will explore two themes: Supporting Student Formation in Online Learning and Encouraging Authentic Learning in the Age of AI, with opportunities to see real examples from faculty and exchange ideas with colleagues.

What to Expect

This interactive panel will highlight impactful digital teaching happening across Boston College. You will hear directly from faculty across disciplines as they share real examples from their online and hybrid courses, including strategies for building connection and belonging, creating authentic learning experiences, and keeping students actively engaged in their own thinking in an age of AI.

You will be able to:

  • See examples in action and leave with practical ideas you can adapt to your own teaching
  • Share your own approaches to online and digital teaching and exchange ideas with colleagues
  • Explore how faculty and CDIL learning designers collaborate to create formative, authentic, and engaging learning experiences
